Where are the Academy Awards / Oscars held?

As we approach the 86th Annual Academy Awards / Oscars, this Sunday, March 2, 2014, I would like to answer a question I've been asked many, MANY times since I created The Zale Map Of The HOLLYWOOD Walk Of Fame. Where are the Academy Awards / Oscars held? Since the inception of the Awards in 1927 and the first Ceremony in 1929, the Awards / Oscars have been held at 11 separate locations. Here they are from first to present:
The 1st Academy Awards (1929)
Presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), honored the best films of 1927 and 1928 and took place on May 16, 1929, at a private dinner held at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, California.
The 2nd Academy Awards (1930)
Held at the Cocoanut Grove of the Ambassador Hotel on Thursday, April 3, 1930,honoring movies released from August 1, 1928 – July 31, 1929.
The 3rd Academy Awards (1930)
Held at the Fiesta Room of the Ambassador Hotel on Wednesday, November 5, 1930,honoring movies released from August 1, 1929 – July 31, 1930.
The 4th Academy Awards (1931)
Held at the Sala D’Oro in the Biltmore Hotel on Tuesday, November 10, 1931,honoring movies released from August 1, 1930 – July 31, 1931.
Were conducted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on November 18, 1932, at a ceremony held at The Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, California. The ceremony was hosted by Conrad Nagel.

Held at the Fiesta Room of the Ambassador Hotel on Friday, March 16, 1934,honoring movies released from August 1, 1932 – December 31, 1933.
The 7th Academy Awards (1935)
